It is time for us to announce the jubilee summer tournament of the ASUS Open Cup series which is going to be the 30th ASUS Open event. ASUS Summer Cup 2010 features a new format, a new location, and larger prize money. The competition takes place under the Republic of Gamers aegis once again.

The ASUS Summer Cup 2010 finals will take place in the best gaming center of Europe, the Kyiv Cybersports Arena, where every participant is sure to appreciate the top-performance gaming stations with components from the key tournament partners: ASUS and Intel.

Ukraine can be visited by any European Union citizen without a visa, so we expect many gamers and teams as well as mass media from Europe.

August 28-29, hundreds of best teams and gamers will contest in Kyiv for a prize fund of 1 million rubles and special hardware prizes from the sponsors.

Within the ASUS Summer 2010 framework we are also planning to carry out online qualifications that were popular during the previous tournaments. Online battles in Counter-Strike and DOTA are already on the list. Stay tuned for further announcements on our site!

Kyiv (August 28-29)

  • Counter-Strike 1.6 5v5 Masters (32 teams) with a prize fund of 600,000 rubles + hardware
  • Counter-Strike: Source 5v5 Open (32 teams) with a prize fund of 100,000 rubles + hardware
  • DOTA 5v5 Open (32 teams) with a prize fund of 100,000 rubles + hardware
  • Quake LIVE! 1v1 Open (32 gamers) with a prize fund of 100,000 rubles + hardware

Moscow (August 21)

  • Counter-Strike 1.6 5v5 NoN Profi Open (64 teams) with a prize fund of 100,000 rubles
  • ASUS MOSCOW Summer 2010 Qualifier (32 teams) with a prize fund of free trips to Kyiv 

The total prize money is 1 million rubles (1.000.000,00 rubles) plus hardware components from the sponsors (for about 200,000 rubles more). 

Official Counter-Strike 1.6 qualifications are going to be held as a preparation for ASUS Summer 2010. You can submit your qualification request to this email address.
