There is more to hot summer than vacations and holidays. This August
will bring us the traditional and scorching hot competition in the most
popular cybersports at ASUS Summer 2009! The most prestigious event in
the CIS countries, the favorite of ASUS
and our portal, goes into the new season with the 26th ASUS Open series
tournament that will get together the strongest teams and players of
East Europe.
Having taken a good deal of their well-deserved
summer rest, the players and teams are now ready to fight in a variety
of disciplines including Counter-Strike Masters where the participants
must first pass a tough qualification. There will be open disciplines,
too. The visitors will see tournaments of amateur CS teams as well as
FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer competitions. There will also be a lot of
dueling in Starcraft: Brood War, Warcraft 3: TFT and Quake 3. A women’s
Counter-Strike competition will be held for a fourth time.
So,
hundreds of best teams and players from the CIS countries will meet in
Moscow in August 22-23 and 29 to challenge each other for the prize
fund totaling 800,000 rubles.
