So, after a really long flight we found ourselves in Korea. The trip went nicely, we took off without any delays and IL96 brought us to the Country of Morning Freshness. Karma was flying in Business-class since he has his back-injury. He arrived with two pillows and a small toy, the present to female Korean progamer, Lene[saint]. We flew to Korea with team Bulgaria in one plane.
After we arrived at the airport we split. But before that we were met and filmed by the organisers who plan to release a big movie about WCG and it's qualifiers by 12th of October, the WCG official opening ceremoney. Progamers went to Olympic Park, Players Village, and journalists settled-up in River side.
At the first half of the day we went to Olympic Park, the place of WCG 2003. A lot of posters are hanging around Seoul's streets, various flags are there as well. Right now the stages are being prepared, everyone is waiting for 12th of October, the Opening Ceremony. The first games will begin on the 13th.
Already 17 nations arrived: Russians, Kazakhstan, Romania, French, the Baltics, Ukraine and others. Teams arrive and go to check-in floor, they receive badges and rooms. Tommorow the Drawing will be made, it will occur at 11:00 CET, stay tuned at CyberFight for live announcement.
We (Polosatiy, Lexx, d1monn) registred as press and right now are looking for a decent internet cafe around our Hotel. Wooho, we actually managed to find one. Right now Press-Centre at WCG 2003 is closed, but it will be open tommorow. We have made a lot of pictures already, so be sure to check them out and wait for more. |
