WCG 2003 Prague Open is the Opening Event of WCG2003 in Czech Republic and Slovakia . The European Counter-Strike (the most popular online game in Europe and world-wide) champions of WCG 2002 are invited to a two-day invitational exhibition tournament in Prague, Czech Republic from 10-11 May 2003.

The results of WCG 2002 Counter-Strike tournament have shown the ongoing domination of the European teams. Therefore the following teams are invited to this event:

 Russia / M19 (1st place, WCG 2002)
 Germany / mousesports (3rd  place, WCG 2002)
 France / GoodGame (4th  place, WCG 2002)
 Czech Republic / Neophyte (5th  place, WCG 2002)
 United Kingdom / Inf-eSports (currently CS quad of 4Kings) (6th  place, WCG 2002)

In order to make this event attractive and interesting to the public, these top regional teams  will be invited:

 Austria / Infernum (1st place, Austria WCG 2002 Preliminary)
 Slovakia / Necroraisers (1st place, Slovak WCG 2002 Preliminary)

Representatives of major media from 8 European countries (Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Russia, Slovakia and United Kingdom) will attend this event in person to provide live and post-event media coverage to over 5 million target audience throughout Europe.

Tourney Prizes: Top quality products for all participating teams in the value of no less than 15.000 euros provided by WCG2003 Prague Open event partners.

Venue Place: Village Cinemas, Prague
