It's getting closer and closer, the world cyber games. Many top clans and duel player's attend this world cyber tournament. A lot of countries managed to get sponsor to send 2 people of each game to Korea and one whole cs team. Althought not every country, Germany and Sweden will not even send one Quake 3 player. A big dissapointing for many gamers. stelam, sl1nger, proZaC and belth are al 4 world top duel player's.

The dutch WCG Qualifier is going ok, only 1 pre-qualifier to go.

So as you see there are 3 spots open, who will take them ? You might think there are not really serious duel player's around in holland anymore, well... For the upcomming dutch WCG pre-qualifier we can expect some good players who wants one of these 3 spots.

menendez: Yes, he will try to make it to Korea again, he is training again and really want's to get the airplane ticket to Korea and show his top games vs other good duel players around the world. He first have to qualify himself for the main qualifier where he meets more top players. Without any doubts he will make it to the main qualifier, he was really inactive but still if he trains some weeks he is back on old level again.

Redondo: As you prolly know is redondo the little brother of if22, Redondo left the quake 3 scene for many times last year and now he wants to try to qualify himself to the Q3 1v1 main qualifier. Redondo did really well at CPL Holland, he beated SK.paracyde and more, he was knocked out by pk.PELE. That wasn't a shame. From that moment many people haven't heard anything of him, he joined the CS scene and he went with TRCC to Korea for the WCG 2001. He was for counter-strike there but he was more playing quake3 then counter-strike. Like 3 months ago he joined UK TDM clan DC and after a while he quited playing Quake3 again, he is playing since previous week and he will try his best to make it with the last 8.

Rufus: Probaly the most unexpected name in the list, since the start of Quake 3 he is an well known player. In the begin of the Quake 3 scene, Rufus was in LoD for TDM, he played the first ClanBase EuroCup for them with a lineup of Dta, 7h, cable and infamous. With duel he competed CPL Holland, CPL Cologne and some dutch lan, he was for a long time the best duel player around here in holland. At that time he played for Nn, a clan with Dta, menendez, shaFt, infamous, Redondo and STORM. After CPL Holland he left the Quake3 scene. He is now back and will try to qualify himself for the main WCG Holland Qualifier. We will see him in action at 29 September, then is the last pre-Qualifier for Holland.

Some other dueler's will be there to, shad, from x-plicit 4 might try to qualify himself for the main qualifier, prodx he did quite well at the last qualifier, he ended 6, he will be there tho and who knows more.
