This is my first column for my new site, yes I'm gonna write for CyberFight.org! Why? sizah was from pro-cybernews? Yes I was, I did some articles with a lot of fun like "The Looking forward LA7" part 1 and 2, I can't link it because the site is down but it was never a site what gave me what I wanted back from the people who readed my articles, comments.... The next reason is that the site is down and I don't even know who I can contact about this or ask why the site is down, the organisation is unknown for me...:D

The site is down and a super event "CPL Summer event" is now under way and Thorin, the leader of Pro-cybernews.com is there to do coverage, well I thought it was for Pro-cybernews.com but thats not true... it is for Gamers.nu. That dissappointed me a lot, Slay and me where at Lan Arena 7 and EuroCup 5 Lan finals and we did coverage.

Well I dont want to talk about it anymore, I don't know the story, maybe that other site gave Thorin some money to write for them or maybe because the site is down, I don't know but from now on I write articles, columns and news for CyberFight.org and I hope I can support Quake 3 with it and I also hope people enjoy reading my interviews, columns and news.

Who is me... ?

My nickname is sizah, my real name is Joris van Laerhoven (for people from UK, they call me Doris, why? ask Cheetah) and I live in Holland, in a new big town called Almere (20 min away from Amsterdam). I'm 16 years old and I like playing Quake 3.

I also like watching and playing football, I'm a fan of Amsterdam Ajax.

3 Years ago I started my own indoor football team with some friends, we founded a sponsor (Merkx) who paid our shirts and the competition budget, It was cool every week 1 match and after the game we took a beer and whe went back to home, after 2 years It died, no motavation anymore for the people in the team.

Since then I started playing games on my father's pc a P2 350, TNT1, my first game what I played  on the internet was Unreal Tournament, after 1 month I quited the game for Quake 3, Quake 3 looked faster and better and the colors in the name are so l33t ! hehe, well thats the main reason that I started playing Quake 3, a other reason was that my brother (HellSpaWN) also plays Quake 3 and a good friend of him Polar, who lives in same town as me and my brother was also a active player. 

stk was my last clan, polar, hellspawn and some other guys where in that team to, now I am clanless since 3 months or longer, maybe it was my last clan maybe not:) who knows, I still like playing Quake 3 :D I'm doing it for 2/3 years or something ?!(started in summer 2000), I participated CPL Holland, long time ago, I was a n00b and my first game was vs St_Germain, which I lost with 32-0 :D:D, second big tournament was WCG Holland, HellSpaWN, my brother, he defeated me and after that he had to play menendez for the spot in the finale. WCG 2002 is comming up so I hope I can Qualify myself for the main qualifier.  My plan is to practice next weekend at InjaKi's home(l33t guy with a 100mbit connection) with prolly shaFt(rG), MaDDoG(x4) and maybe some other peoples from PZZ. I've now a much better pc, I play on a AMD Thunderbird 1.4 ghz, GeForce 2 GTS/PRO, Already for a year, much better then p2 350mhz, TNT1 (30 fps):ppp.  

My history as writer for sites..:

I started writing news and articles for Gunpower.be, A Benelux coverage site (Quake only) with my first article about the game x4 vs PZZ in the open cup 4, later I wrote articles about new eurocup clans, eurocup playoffs clans, and other interviews. After that I wanted something to write about the EU and US side of Quake3,  It was pro-cybernews.com. I did some articles for them and now I'm writer for CyberFight.org.
