As you, probably, already know from d1monn's column, last weekend we made a small, but effective raid on the Gorbushka software market =). As for me personally, I found And One "Virgin Superstar", Kid Loco "Kill your darlings" (the cover is a must-see! ;)), Dzhihan and Kamien "Refreaked", Blue Oyster Cult-76 (hi to all cyberblueoysters! ;)) and Arling and Cameron "We are A and C". The last thingie deserves special attention. Well, ladies and gentlemen, after the age of lounge ansd neodisco our favorite toy from the times when Depeche Mode was born comes into picture - the synthie pop, version beginning of the XXI century. It differs from the originals mostly in the mix of all that was before and after ("When I'm playing in my punk rock band...!"), but, lisstening to the CD, you don't think about the allusions - because it's simply a great cheerful (even if the lyrics are dull) music that made us jump at the school disco in our childhood! I've been waiting for this for long time.

My heart feels that it's only the beginning... and by spring we'll be enjoying Yazoo remixes made by someone like Air.  And in the meanwhile I'd better switch "We are A and C" on repeat... =)
