One of the invited teams in our M19 CS Cup will be Matrix from Sweden. These guys are popular in Europe and overseas as well. We have made an interview with Magix in order you find out more about them.

Hi, can you please introduce yourself? Say some words about your life, and how much time are you spending on playing CS daily?

Matrix|Magix: Hi, my name is Magnus Berndtsson, 19 years old. I live in Haninge a town 2 miles southern of Stockholm. On my sparetime I hang out with friends at parties and play cs. I play around 6 hours a day.

What is clan-matrix now? Introduce players, who will play in M19 CS Cup?

Matrix|Magix: Clan Matrix is a team consisting of me, MegatoN, Legenden, Zad and rvd. That's also the players who are going to play in M19 online cup.

What is your opinion about online tournaments and cups? Do you think it is good idea to create European league with cash for prizes?

Matrix|Magix: I think it's ok to play online cups/tournaments, but I prefer LAN.

Your team is invited to play in M19 CS Cup from Sweden. You will be in one of the Scandinavian groups. Do you think matches in Scandinavian groups will be more exciting rather than the battles in Central European groups?

Matrix|Magix: I think all matches can be exciting, there are only good team invited so.. I'm looking forward to play the tournament.

During year 2003 everyone were spectating victories of Swedish teams. Do you think this is because the level of Swedish CS scene has is much higher than the level of other European teams?

Matrix|Magix: I think Sweden is best in CS because they have the best basis to become good, like connection and number of players, etc.

We congratulate your team with the victory in Samsung Nordic Cup! Tell us a little about how did you manage to become the winners of this Cup?

Matrix|Magix: Thanks! Well.. We just played our game and didn't have any big problems winning the whole tournament.

Clan Matrix is very well known for being a good online team. For exmaple, a year ago Matrix defeated eoL in EuroCup. But you were not so successful in LAN tournaments. Why it is happening, and what your is going to do in order to solve this problem?

Matrix|Magix: That was the old Clan Matrix with ScreaM, SpawN, Legenden, bp and cyphoneR. We have showed some good online results too, but on CPL Denmark that we weren't online and proved that we can play good on LAN too :)

How often do you practice? You just meet and play from your internet cafe or sometimes you play pcw's at home?

Matrix|Magix: We always play from our internet cafe, M@trix webworld. Usually we play around 3-5 days a week, 6-8 hours a day.

Can you give a sort of advice for new teams? I mean, can you reveal some secrets of proffesional CS Scene?

Matrix|Magix: I don't know what to say.. I think they already know everything about it.

It is not a secret that last night all Europe was celebrating Christmas. What did you do last night?

Matrix|Magix: I was home with my family and my closest relatives. Celebrating a Swedish christmas, that's all.
